Volunteer Dog Trainer Assistant Program for Physically Fit Young Adults 18-29 Do you have a natural interest in dogs? Ever entertained the idea of becoming a professional dog trainer? Are you a physically fit male between 18-29 years of age who needs an entry level way into the field of dog training? If you answered yes then The Hell on Paws Volunteer Program is now looking for you! You will get a chance to learn the Traditional art of dog training. This is the best and easiest way to learn a new trade. This volunteer program is completely free! There are no tuition fee's or enrollment costs. You will be required to do various different and strange activities around all types of dogs; including large and/or aggressive dogs. Your duties will also be the set up of various distractions for the dogs in the training ring. The trainers assistant is a manual laborer position working around dogs. This position is very physical by nature and requires time in outdoor weather. As such, you need to be in above average physical condition. You should be very athletically inclined. You may be required to do anything from ride a bicycle around dogs in a very physical manner, to standing on a skateboard. Not to mention engage in ball games, run and so forth. Heavy lifting may also be required. It is an ideal position for a younger person looking for an entry way into the dog training profession. Requirements
You will get a chance to learn the Traditional arts of Dog Training. This is the best and easiest way to learn a new trade. Future part time employment possible for the right person. All training is provided. No experience preferred. This is a volunteer position. We do not pay you. There is no tuition or cost to you. Program is Free. We offer quality training to those who make a three month commitment to us. One last thing: If you are looking for a free ride where everything is handed to you on a silver platter; keep looking elsewhere, because you won't get it here. On the other hand if you just need a place that will allow you to work hard and give you a place to learn traditional dog training, then this may be a great place for you to get your start in what is becoming a rare and almost extinct art form. I am located on the North side of Edmonton. The most important thing to me is your character and desire to succeed in this field. Attitude is everything. A bad/wrong attitude will get you disqualified in rather short order. I will leave it to you to figure out what I mean by that.
